Our Philosophy

We follow the Rooted Child Philosophy — our own approach to child care that grew from lived experience, years of hands-on work with children, and a deep respect for their voices and individuality. The Rooted Child Philosophy blends the best of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Alberta’s FLIGHT framework into something unique: a way of caring for children that is rooted in emotional attunement, autonomy, and respect.

We believe children thrive when they feel heard, when their independence is supported without pressure, and when their caregivers walk beside them with warmth and intention.
